A company in the automotive sector asked MecanoLav to design and supply an automotive parts cleaning machine (engines, driveshafts, etc.) for refurbishment. The objectives: ensure deep degreasing of heavily contaminated engines and driveshafts while meeting cycle-time requirements, and integrate seamlessly into the customer’s production environment thanks to an automated loading/unloading system.
This industrial washing machine delivers efficient cleaning thanks to a double cycle: washing/blow-off, then rinsing/blow-off/drying. Process repeatability is ensured by separate baths and two distinct cleaning chambers. Bath treatment is optimized, with an optional degreaser/decanter and a paper roll filter.
Loading and unloading are automatic, via the customer’s conveyors. Motorized chain conveyors, adapted to the customer’s baskets, transfer the parts between the cleaning chambers.
