The MecanoLav team will be in Colmar to showcase its solutions for cleaning and depowdering parts produced by additive manufacturing.
This 4th edition of the “days on treatments and finishing of additively manufactured parts” gives experts and specialists from every sector the chance to discuss the surface treatments possible in 3D printing.
Components produced by additive manufacturing have many critical areas (blind holes, narrow channels, grooves, circuits…) that are hard to reach for effective cleaning. To address this, MecanoLav and its partner have developed a new cleaning technology: cyclic nucleation, also known as “CNp”. It works by forming bubbles on the reactive surface of the component, which expand and then implode, mechanically ejecting residual contamination without altering the component’s surface.
